Hello, I am Dr. Christian Bracamonte, Psy.D., LMFT (#160679), licensed psychotherapist in California and the owner of California Love Counseling, a boutique telehealth psychotherapy practice.

As of 2026, I come to you with 15 years of experience providing mental health and clinical social work services across a wide range of public service and private practice settings.

My Master’s Degree, Doctor of Psychology Degree, and clinical license are all in the field of relationship/marital and family therapy (MFT), and I consider this my area of expertise.

I also work as an adjunct professor in a MFT graduate program where I teach classes such as Couple’s Therapy, Sexual Issues in MFT, Assessment in MFT, and Etiology and Diagnosis of Mental Illness; and I serve on dissertation committees for doctoral students helping to shape the next generation of research in psychology.

So, I proudly bring my backgrounds as a clinician, researcher, and educator in the field to the therapy room to support my clients in meeting their goals.

I am also proud to be certified in LGBTQ Mental Health & Human Services and specialize in providing affirmative care to LGBTQ clients, including lesbian, gay, transamorous, polyamorous, and otherwise queer relationships.

I am a Clinical Member of the California Association for Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
