As you may be able to tell by our name, the focus here is on love
I welcome clients who consider themselves to be different, or alternative, or “non-traditional.”
I understand what it’s like to live your life originally and authentically and I pride myself in creating a truly non-judgmental therapeutic environment where your uniqueness is your biggest strength.
I practice from an emotionally-focused perspective where we aim to understand our innermost, vulnerable emotions, and the patterns we fall into based on our outward expression of those emotions.
I am very proud to be certified in LGBTQ Mental Health and Human Services, and I specialize in providing affirmative care to LGBTQ clients and relationships.
Services
Individual Therapy
In individual therapy, we work on the love you feel and show for yourself.
I aim to provide a warm and deeply empathetic home base for you to learn and grow from, and ultimately accomplish your goals.
Whether you’re here to work on symptoms of depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, or dealing with issues related to your identity, or your future, my focus is to be that safe haven in your life that you can rely on for professional help.
If the main issues in your life are related to your romantic relationships, you are likely a better fit for relationship therapy.

Relationship Therapy
In relationship therapy, the focus remains on love, on the emotional bond that connects partners and spouses.
Specifically how both, or all, partners are experiencing that love inside, and expressing that love to one another.
Relationship therapy is a deeply vulnerable process. And it means a lot to me that people let me into their relationships and I take that very seriously.
I consider it my life’s work, my ministry, to support others in rebuilding, maintaining, and strengthening their emotional bonds with their loved ones.
Relationship therapy, particularly emotionally-focused therapy, is the best and most effective way to do that.

Family Systems Therapy
Similarly, family therapy, or family systems therapy, works with all members of a family system.
That could mean parents and children, co-parents, siblings, blended families, chosen families, or those you live with or do business with. You don’t have to be biologically related to benefit from family systems therapy. Our family systems are made up of the people that we love or meaningfully share our lives with.
But sometimes life together gets difficult and we need help with those family systems, even the ones we wouldn’t typically think to go to therapy with.
But if you love them, or live with them, or run a business with them, and you’re stuck in a cycle of dysfunction, it’s worth seeking professional help to instead develop a healthy, productive way of spending life together.
